Chapter 2 Season 1 Trick Shot Challenges (Fortnite Battle Pass Guide)

Mission Objectives

(2) Eliminations while at 50 Health or less

This is a difficult Challenge which will likely require a Squad of teammates and some above average building skills. Ideally, you’d complete this Challenge in Team Rumble where you don’t need to worry too much about being eliminated thanks to the persistent loot and respawn mechanics.

The best strategy for this Challenge is to allow your opponents to get you to 50HP - don’t bother equipping any Shields while going for this, it’s a waste - then box yourself off and allow your teammates to get the enemy low. Once your teammates have communicated that the opponent is ready to be eliminated and you’re healed up, go in and secure the elimination.

Consume (3) Foraged apples at The Orchard

The Orchard can be found North of Frenzy Farm at the nearby Apple Orchard. Here you’ll find countless consumable Apples which will grant +5HP when consumed.

(3) Eliminations at Weeping Woods or a Landmark

Due to the size and frequency of Landmarks, Weeping Woods is the ideal location to complete this Challenge - not only due to the aforementioned facts, but there’s much more materials and loot to be found here.

Dance at the Pipeman, the Hayman, and the Timber Tent

To complete this Challenge, simply use any Emote while standing near the locations shown in the following map and images.

Pipeman

The Pipeman refers to a humanoid-shaped structure made of pipes which can be found Southwest of Misty Meadows near the edge of the map.

Hayman

There Hayman refers to a humanoid-shaped structure made of hay bales which can be found just West of Frenzy Farm.

Timber Tent

The Timber Tent refers to a tent or teepee shaped structure which is made of logs, it can be found South of Sweaty Sands near the pond.

Gain Health with a Small Fry, a Flopper, and a Slurp Fish

To find these three items, you must have a Fishing Pole and find the items via Fishing.

  • The Small Fry is a Common Fish and Healing Item which can be stacked up to 6 and heals 15 HP per use
  • The Flopper is an Uncommon Fish and Healing Item which can be stacked up to 4 and heals 50 HP per use
  • The Slurp Fish is an Epic Fish and Healing Item which can be stacked up to 3 and heals up to 50 HP or Shield per use

(3) Eliminations with Pistols

As of the v11.20 update, the only Pistol available in Battle Royale is the base Pistol. However, the Pistol does come in the Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarities - each of which with a boost in statistics.

Visit (3) Named Locations in a single match

This is a simple Challenge which requires no direction or tips. Most likely, you’ll complete it without even trying while you work toward completing other Challenges.

(500) Damage with Shotguns

As of the v11.20 update, the choices for Shotguns in Battle Royale include the Tactical Shotgun and Pump Shotgun - each of which come in Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarities that each have their own statistical advantages.

Save yourself from fall damage by landing in a Hideout

Hideouts are a new mechanic in Fortnite Chapter 2 which allow players to hide from enemies. They can be found all around the map in the form of Dumpsters and Hay Bales, as seen in the following image.

Another mechanic of the Hideouts is that the player can jump from any height and be immune to fall damage as long as they land on a Hideout.

Heal yourself within 10 seconds after taking damage from an opponent

This is another difficult Challenge which will probably be easiest to complete in team-based modes such as Duos, Squads, or Team Rumble - with the latter of which being the easiest thanks to the persistent loot and respawn mechanics.

The best way to go about this is to stick close to your teammates and try to single out individual enemies who may be falling behind or without a Squad. Once you’ve taken damage, box yourself in and allow your teammates to fight while you heal yourself.

You could also take extremely long-range engagements and allow the enemies to get an easy shot on you, then go into hiding and heal up before your opponent even has time to get there.

Search the hidden “T” in the Trick Shot Loading Screen

The hidden letter “T” can be found beneath the bridge located over the river in Weeping Woods, as shown on the map above and in-game image below.
