FortniteMaster Community Spotlight - March 1st, 2019

Welcome to our March 1st, 2019 Community Content Spotlight! We're really excited to feature the Fortnite related artwork, highlights, videos, and other content that has been posted across social media channels or submitted to us over the past few weeks!

As is our weekly reminder, if you would like us to feature your content for future editions, we welcome you to follow us and send your submissions to @FNMasterCom. Several pieces will be chosen by our content team!

It's been a few weeks since we've done a Community Spotlight, so we included a couple of additional picks! Without further ado, here are the pieces for this week's spotlight:

The first piece we chose for this week’s Community Spotlight is this incredible compilation of electronic pop songs and a couple of other random tracks made in Creative mode, compiled by Fortnite Music Clips on YouTube. There are some real bangers in here. It’s the perfect mixture of upbeat electro-pop and video game/meme tracks. Words wouldn’t do justice to some of the amazing talent in this video, so give it a watch and let the music speak for itself!

Next up is this drawing of the Marshmello skin by /u/thekenpachi04. We love this drawing. The detail and depth on Marshmello himself are impeccable, and the vibrant multi-colored background completes the image perfectly. This drawing absolutely captures the essence of Marshmello and his music.

Third, we have this Recreation of "Rasputin" using music blocks in Creative, made by @ItsJustonian. Props to Justonian for doing such a good job recreating this complex song in a limited environment like Fortnite Creative. If you don’t recognize it right off the bat, hang in there until the chorus comes in at 1:20. Once you hear that catchy Chorus, it’s hard to not start singing or humming along. For reference, here’s the original “Rasputin.”

For the fourth piece, we chose this Season 7 Wooden Map by /u/Originartwork. This couple has been making intricately carved wooden maps for the past four seasons, and they are always jaw-dropping. This one is no exception. We especially love how they include little details like the Marshmello stage in Pleasant and icy mountain on Polar. If you want to see more incredible wood carvings, check out their Etsy shop where they have a plethora of video-game and fantasy-inspired maps.

The fifth piece we chose for today is this clay sneaky snowman, crafted by /u/gyal73. We always love featuring Gyal’s little clay sculptures of Fortnite skins and items. And we must admit, this one may the cutest. It’s a bummer these little guys were vaulted in Season 8, but we’ll still remember them as one of the most fun and amusing items to ever enter the game.

Next is this DJ Battle drawing by @puppeteer7777. This illustration is so good, we forgot for a second that somebody actually had to draw this from scratch. The colors and lighting are phenomenal. The background is insanely cool. There aren’t enough good things we could say about this one. All we know is that we’d love to see DJ Bop at the next Fortnite event because it looks like she’s giving Yonder a run for his money.

The last piece for today is this short video that shows breaking down and reassembling all the components of the scoped revolver, made by /u/keithandson. We don’t know why, but these animations that break down weapon components really stand out. It’s cool to think about how many moving parts go into operating a gun and firing a single bullet. If you want to see some of the other ones they’ve has made, check out their YouTube.
