Fortnite Celebration Cup - Official Rules, Prize Pools, and Information
On February 15th and February 16th, PlayStation 4 players who are eligible to compete will play in the Fortnite Celebration Solo Cup. Winners of this Cup will earn in-game items and a share of $1,000,000!
Before you can participate, you must enable 2-Factor Authentication on your Epic Games account and be within the Official Rules - which we’ll brief below.
Day 1: In-Game Rewards
On Saturday, February 15th, 2020, the best players from each regional leaderboard will have the chance to win the following in-game items:
- Top 5%: Tango Uncommon Outfit
- Top 25%: Wild Accent Uncommon Pickaxe
- Top 50%: Take Cover Uncommon Spray
Day 2: Cash Rewards
On Sunday, February 16th, 2020, the top 4,000 players from each regional leaderboard will win a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool. The following lists are representative of the top three regions and top five placements, if you’re looking for a full breakdown, visit the Official Rules.
North America (East)
- 1st Place: $2,500
- 2nd Place: $2,000
- 3rd Place: $1,875
- 4th Place: $1,700
- 5th Place: $1,600
North America (West)
- 1st Place: $1,200
- 2nd Place: $900
- 3rd Place: $715
- 4th Place: $600
- 5th Place: $550
Europe
- 1st Place: $3,000
- 2nd Place: $2,300
- 3rd Place: $2,000
- 4th Place: $1,800
- 5th Place: $1,700

Scoring System
Before competing, you’ll want to familiarize yourself with the Celebration Cup Scoring System. While pretty standard, it’s important to note that each session will last approximately 3 hours, players may participate in a maximum of 10 matches during each session.
- Eliminations: 1 point
- Victory Royale: 10 points
- 2nd-5th Place: 7 points
- 6th-15th Place: 5 points
- 16th-25th Place: 3 points
Rules
If you’re planning to compete in the Celebration Cup, you’ll want to take the time to read the entirety of the Official Rules. But with that being said, here’s some important details that you should especially be aware of:
- To be eligible to participate in any Celebration Cup match, a player must be at least 13 years old (or such other age, if greater, as may be required in such player’s country of residence). If a player is under 18 years of age or the age of majority as defined in such player’s country of residence (a “Minor”), such player must have permission from a parent or legal guardian in order to participate in the Event.
- To be eligible to participate in any Celebration Cup match, a player must compete on a Fortnite account that has reached level 15 or above.
- Players must be in good standing with respect to any Epic accounts registered by said player, with no undisclosed violations. Players must also be free of or served fully any penalties from previously breaking any official Epic rules.
- The Event in all parts is open to players from across the world.
- Multiple players may not participate in the Event on the same machine in a single Event weekend.
