Fortnite Esports Roster Changes and Player Signings - July 10th, 2019

Welcome to our weekly series that covers the latest roster changes and player signings in Fortnite Esports. Gaming organizations are adjusting rosters and picking up new players every week, so we decided to start this series to keep track of all the changes. There is no shortage of top-tier talent in this community and we love to see players' hard work pay off.

The following roster changes are those that have occurred in the past month, and do not include previously established rosters.

FaZe Clan

Cloak, the captain of FaZe's very first Fortnite squad, has moved into restricted free agency. This means that Cloak is free to represent himself moving forward, but FaZe still retains his player rights. Even though they retain his player rights, we'd be surprised if FaZe kept Cloak from pursuing any new opportunities at this point.

On the flip side, Mongraal has joined FaZe in a surprise to many. Apparently, FaZe reached a transfer agreement with Team Secret, essentially buying out Mongraal. Mongraal is one of the few players in the world who have double qualified (solos and duos) for the World Cup.

100 Thieves

In true 100T fashion, they announced their latest pickup with a charismatic yet funny reveal. The Doc himself reached out to Nadeshot to recommend they pickup up Arkhram, a player who's record speaks for itself. Arkhram is another one of the few players who has double qualified, placing 1st in weeks 2, 9, and 10 of the world cup qualifiers.

Cloud9 is breaking back into the Fortnite scene with four new pickups. They signed three new Brazilian players and one North American player. Nicks has double qualified for the solos and duos portion of the World Cup, drakoNz has qualified for solos, and BlackoutZ barely missed out on qualifying. Snow, the NA player, was able to qualify for solos in week one of the qualifiers.

Team Secret

VapeJesus has decided to part ways with Team Secret after four months with the org. We wish him the best on his continued grind going forward!

Eleven Gaming

E11 has gone through a little bit of everything in the past month. Let's start with the good: they signed the double-qualified EU legend, Klusia. On a more neutral note, they decided to part ways with Vicaros, one of the first Fortnite players to join E11. The move seems to have been mutually agreeable, with both parties showing gratitude for each other and their relationship. On a not so good note, E11 decided to part ways with Bloodx after a controversial screenshot arose. After some time to investigate, E11 decided it would be best to terminate their relationship with Bloodx.

A little over a week ago, Fnatic said goodbye to one of their longest-standing Fortnite player: Jarl. He was the second Fortnite player ever signed to Fnatic back in July of 2018. We wish him all the best going forward.

Team Vitality

Team Vitality has signed EU player Hawkers as their newest Fortnite pro. Although he barely missed qualifying for the World Cup, we're sure his new relationship with Vitality will prove fruitful.
