Fortnite Esports Roster Changes and Player Signings - November 21st, 2019

Welcome to our monthly* series that covers the latest roster changes and player signings in Fortnite Esports. Gaming organizations are adjusting rosters and picking up new players every week, so we decided to start this series to keep track of all the changes. There is no shortage of top-tier talent in this community and we love to see players' hard work pay off.


TSM

Team SoloMid has seen some significant roster changes within the last 90 days. Most notably, TSM MackWood has joined as a player for the organization. As the winner of the Season X Grand Finals NA East, Trios Cash Cup Week 2 NA East, and Scallywag Cup NA East, we're excited to see what he can bring to the team. Soon after this addition, TSM announced the departure of Kaysid, HighDistortion, ProdigyAces, and Wintrrz - we wish them luck with their future endeavors.


C9

On October 17th, the organization known as Cloud 9 announced the departure of snow and pfzin; The latter of which was a professional player for the team with wins in events such as the Champion's Solo Cash Cup SA, World Cup 2019 SA Qualifiers, and more.


FaZe

On October 31st, FaZe Clan announced the departure of Jaomock, a long-time professional player for FaZe Clan's Fortnite division. Hailing from Canada, Jaomock does not have any significant wins on record, but he did consistently place in the Top 10 in events such as the Fall Skirmish NA Week 5, Summer Skirmish Series Week 1, and more. It'll be interesting to see what his future plans are and we wish him the best.


NRG

2019 has been a huge year for the NRG organization. Fortnite aside, they've acquired acquired the behemoth Call of Duty organization known as OpTic Gaming and became known as the Chicago Huntsmen. On the Fortnite side of things, NRG has acquired Edgey as a player for the organization. Edgey has made a name for himself toward the end of this year as he has won events such as the Trios Cash Cup 1 NAW, Trios Cash Cup 2 NAW, Champions Series Week 3 NAE, Friday Nite Fortnite Week 3 NAW, and more.


Team Secret

Team Secret is a European-based organization with players worldwide, they were previously the home to Fortnite players such as Mongraal. Toward the end of September, Team Secret acquired Skram and Mexe to be players for the team. Together, the duo has yet to win any significant events, but they do show promise having placed 3rd in the Europe Gauntlet.


Fnatic

On October 21st, FNC announced the departure of Lithuanian player ErycTriceps. During his time in FNC, ErycTriceps consistently placed Top 3 during Summer Skirmish EU, placing 1st on Week 6 Day 2.


Luminosity Gaming

North American based Fortnite team Luminosity Gaming announced their acquisition of player Khuna on November 9th. Khuna has yet to win any significant events, but he shows promise having placed 5th in the Katowice Royale 2019 and 11th at the World Cup 2019 EU Qualifiers Week 6.
