Season X The Leftovers Challenges (Fortnite Battle Pass Guide)

Urgent Mission Objectives

Day 1: Deal (250) damage with Explosive weapons to opponents

Due to the scarcity of explosive weapons in the current state of Fortnite, this Challenge may prove to be difficult.

Both of the Rocket Launchers tend to mainly spawn in Supply Drops making them relatively rare, not to mention that Rocket Ammo will no longer drop from eliminated players or ammo crates. Grenades are also the only throwable explosive at this time.

The High Explosives LTM is not likely to return in time for this Challenge, so we highly recommend going into the Team Rumble mode to complete this Challenge.

Day 2: (5) Shotgun Eliminations

Your choices for this Challenge include the Combat Shotgun, Drum Shotgun, Pump Shotgun, and Tactical Shotgun. Which you’ll use is simply a matter of preference, all have their designated strengths and weaknesses which are fit for different playstyles and situations.

It’s important to note that close-range engagements will likely result in a build fight. But worry not - we’ve got you covered. Check out this video from our YouTube Channel focused helping you win build fights.

Day 3: Eliminate (20) members of the Horde at Retail Row

The Retail Row Rift Zone has brought along the Horde with it, various zombie types will spawn from the pink obelisks which spawn when a player is within the Rift Zone.

The Horde is fully AI-controlled and isn’t very powerful, as long as you keep moving or have strong enough weapons to hold off a lane. One important thing to note is that the Horde will not leave the Rift Zone, if you find yourself in a bad situation, just leave the Rift Zone and they’ll stop targeting you.

Day 4: Outlast (150) opponents in Duos or Squads mode

Don’t stress too much about completing this Challenge as it’s quite literally a passive Challenge. Just play our you Duos or Squad matches as you normally would and you’ll eventually complete the Challenge with ease.

You don’t even necessarily need to survive to the late-game to complete this Challenge, lots of players will die at the very beginning of matches due to the looting phase. If you’re one of those people, consider checking out our YouTube Channel for tips on improving your gameplay.

Day 5: Use a throwable item in (3) different matches

At the time of writing, the only throwable item which has yet to be vaulted is the regular Grenade. Luckily this Challenge only requires the item to be thrown, you won’t have to worry about getting eliminations with it.

If you’re completing this Challenge past Season X Week 4 (Smash & Grab), you’ll also be able to use the leaked Junk Rift item.

Day 6: Visit Paradise Palms and Lucky Landing in the same match

This Challenge is super simple and shouldn’t take more than a single attempt. Paradise Palms can be found in the Southeast corner of the map while Lucky Landing is right beside it on the South edge.

Day 7: Search (7) Chests at Salty Springs or Frosty Flights

Which location you should use for this Challenge is simply preference, each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Salty Springs has less Chest spawns than Frosty Flights, but unlike Frosty, Salty isn’t located toward the edge of the map and will require less travel to get to the Storm circle.

Salty Springs

Here’s a map of Chest spawns for Salty Springs. If you choose to land here, do not forget about the (sometimes well-hidden) underground areas! The above map shows you where these can be found, some players may forget about these, putting themselves at a disadvantage.

Frosty Flights

Here’s a map of Chest spawns for Frosty Flights. Should you land here, consider landing in the control tower and working your way down throughout the rest of the main building. The hangars and runway area should generally be avoided due to the scarcity of Chests and lack of cover.

Hidden Battle Star

The Softdeez Ice Cream Shop logo can be found on the left-side of the front bumper in the Leftovers loading screen, as seen below.

The Battle Star should be available around the Ice Cream Shop, found West of the Racetrack. The Leftovers Loading Screen isn’t super clear as to where the Star is located, we’ll update you if this changes.
