Season X The Return Challenges (Fortnite Battle Pass Guide)

Urgent Mission Objectives

Day 1: (1) Sniper Rifle Elimination

If you're new to Fortnite, you may not be aware that Sniper Rifles are affected by bullet drop. Bullet drop means that the bullet you have fired is affected by gravity, this means you'll need to lead your shots and compensate at range. Typically, not much compensation is needed from 0-50m due to the speed at which the bullet travels; However, beyond that you'll want to take advantage of the lines within the Sniper scope which represent 150m increments.

Day 2: Outlast (150) opponents in Solo or Duos mode

For this Challenge, you simply need to play the game. Even the worst of players should be able to complete it in one sitting as it's passively completed for you while you're working on the other Challenges.

That being said, those who feel that they struggle to survive to the late-game; Consider checking out our YouTube Channel where we post informative videos covering varying topics which are aimed to help you improve. Here is a video of ours which is relevant to this Challenge...

Day 3: Deal (500) damage with Scoped weapons to opponents

Your options for this Challenge include the Heavy Sniper Rifle, Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle, Automatic Sniper Rifle, and Scoped Assault Rifle. Depending on your playstyle, you'll likely want to keep an eye out for at least one of the Sniper Rifles while also carrying the Scoped Assault Rifle. That way you're equipped for close-medium range and long-range.

Don't forget that you can deal damage to downed opponents to easily complete this Challenge. You can also hop into the Team Rumble mode where respawns and persistent loot inventory is enabled.

Day 4: Search (7) Ammo Boxes at Fatal Fields or Lonely Lodge

Because of the density of Ammo Box spawns around the map, we have not created spawn location maps for them as we have Chests. You shouldn't have any difficulty finding Ammo Boxes in either of these locations. Simply keep an eye out and maybe stick around the location a little longer than you typically would and you'll find yourself finished with the Challenge in no time!

Day 5: Use (2) different throwable items in a single match

For this Challenge you'll want to pick up any Grenades and Boogie Bombs which you come across. Luckily, the Challenge only requires you to use the throwable - not deal damage - therefore you do not need to sacrifice an inventory slot for this Challenge.

Day 6: Land on top of a Floating Island and a Meteor

Floating Island

The Floating Island is a location which was brought into the map via Rift Beacon, similar to the current Rift Zones. The catch with this location is that it is constantly moving around the map. Where it is pictured in the map which you see above may not be where it is positioned at the time which you are completing this Challenge.

Because this location is a Rift Zone, we have unfortunately not documented the Chest spawns for it.

The Meteor can be found suspended in air (and time?) above the Factories near Dusty Depot. Upon landing on the Meteor, you can immediately drop down to the Factories thanks to the low-gravity effect it has.

Day 7: Visit Loot Lake and Sunny Steps in the same match

Loot Lake

Loot Lake is the iconic named location which can be found in the center of the map. Keep in mind that you can use the Zero Point Rift located in the center of the lake as a quick and easy escape route.

Sunny Steps

Sunny Steps is a lesser-known named location found in the Northeast corner of the map. For this Challenge, you'll want to land here first as it is less likely to be within the ending Storm circles.

Hidden Battle Star

A Battle Star can be found in the center of the Return loading screen.

The Battle Star will be available in this location, on the dock found within Fatal Fields.

Here is a map indicating where to find this point in-game:
