Season X Road Trip Challenges (Fortnite Battle Pass Guide)

Visit Drift painted Durrr Burger Head, a Dinosaur, and a Stone Head Statue

Here's a map of their locations:

Here are pictures of what they look like:

Deal (200) damage to opponents while riding in a vehicle

The best way to complete this challenge is to hop into a Team Rumble match and go straight for one of the BRUTE mechs. Those things deal insane amounts of damage, and it’s really easy to use them. Here’s a video:

Alternatively, you could try using a Driftboard as well, but it’s a little bit harder because you can’t strafe left and right while on one, making it a lot easier for your enemies to kill you.

Destroy (10) stop signs with the Catalyst Outfit

Here’s what a stop sign looks like in game:

You can find them in some of the older city Points of Interest like Salty Springs, Pleasant Park, and Paradise Palms. Make sure you equip the Catalyst Outfit first though!

Ride a Zipline in (3) different matches

The best place to find Ziplines are at the Expedition outposts to the west of Lonely Lodge, north of Pleasant Park, or near Polar Peak:

Super easy challenge to do. You don't even have to ride it for long, just tap onto one and tap off as you're running by them.

Search a Chest in (3) different Named Locations

This isn’t too difficult: just land at any named location and loot a chest there. We unfortunately do not have an updated chest map for Season X yet, but most of the chest spawns from Season 9 should still be there (with the exception of Dusty Divot of course). We will post one as soon as possible.

Visit Lazy Lagoon and Lucky Landing in a single match

This is actually a decently tricky challenge, considering you have to cross the entire map to complete it. Since most vehicles were vaulted in the Season X patch, the easiest way to do this challenge would be to get a Driftboard between both locations.

A good route would be to start at Lazy Lagoon and drop by Loot Lake for a Driftboard, and then go straight to Lucky Landing. Make sure you ignore ALL fights. You ought to be able to outrun people with the Driftboard boost.

Get (250,000) Trick Points in a vehicle

This is really easy to do with a Driftboard. Jump in the air off a cliff or something, angle up, boost, and hold down on the left or right arrow key. You ought to be able to do it in one go.

Visit Drift painted Durrr Burger Head, a Dinosaur, and a Stone Head Statue in a single match (Prestige)

If you thought the Lazy Lagoon and Lucky Landing in a single map challenge, this’ll be even more annoying.

Here’s the map of the locations again:

For this one, it might be difficult to pull off even while using a Driftboard. Ideally, you would take this path:

  • Land at the Durr Burger Head
  • Zipline to the expedition outpost
  • Pick up a driftboard
  • Go to the Stone Head statue
  • Boost all the way to the dinosaur

The issue really is with how the storm circles go. You’ll likely have to throw the game to complete the challenge, but you’ll get a sweet cosmetic from completing the Prestige challenges so it’s worth it.

(5) Eliminations while riding a vehicle

We direct you to the above section about doing damage in a vehicle:

“The best way to complete this challenge is to hop into a Team Rumble match and go straight for one of the BRUTE mechs. Those things deal insane amounts of damage, and it’s really easy to use them.

Alternatively, you could try using a Driftboard as well, but it’s a little bit harder because you can’t strafe left and right while on one, making it a lot easier for your enemies to kill you.”

Destroy (7) stop signs with the Catalyst outfit in a single match (Prestige)

This is actually a really difficult and frustrating challenge.

You have to land at Pleasant Park, which has the most stop signs of any single location. If you can’t get all 7 at Pleasant Park, you’ll have to rotate to Salty Springs or the Frozen Lake to pick up the rest.

It’s likely you’ll have to spend multiple attempts doing this. However, if Pleasant Park is far from the Battle Bus route, you ought to have a much better chance.

Deal (300) damage to opponents while riding a Zipline (Prestige)

Play Team Rumble for this - if the storm circle spawns around a Zipline, just camp the Zipline and shoot people. Use accurate weapons like Assault Rifles and Suppressed Pistols, or explosives like the Proximity Grenade Launcher.

Eliminate (5) opponents in different Named Locations (Prestige)

Since you don’t have to do this in the same game, the difficulty is really in getting the elimination, which is mostly about aim. As usual, the best way to do this is to land at a Named Location, find a gun, and shoot the closest person. If you need some aiming help, watch this video:

Just make sure you keep track of which locations you’re landing at and getting eliminations so you don’t go to the same spot. Try low population areas if you’re struggling to get a kill.

Visit (10) different Named Locations in a single match (Prestige)

For this challenge, you won’t be playing Fortnite. You’ll be playing Tony Hawk Driftboard simulator 2019, featuring Ziplines.

We would suggest landing somewhere where there’s a Driftboard. Usually you’ll find them around the Expedition outposts. Then you want to Driftboard to every single Named Location near you. Here’s a good route:

  1. Pleasant Park outpost. Grab Driftboard and follow the path:
  2. The Block
  3. Junk Junction
  4. Haunted Hills
  5. Snobby Shores
  6. Pleasant Park
  7. Loot Lake
  8. Neo Tilted
  9. Shifty Shafts
  10. Polar Peak
  11. Zipline to Frosty Flights

Get (500,000) Trick Points in a vehicle in a single match (Prestige)

This isn’t that much more difficult to do than the non-prestige challenge. It’s the same idea with a Driftboard, except you’ll have to do more than 1 jump probably. Jump in the air off a cliff or something, angle up, boost, and hold down on the left or right arrow key. If you get more airtime, it’ll be easier to build up the points - just make sure there’s somewhere to land!
