Season X Team Spirit Challenges (Fortnite Battle Pass Guide)

Mission Objectives

Play (3) matches with a Friend

This is a super simple Challenge which requires no direction. Just be sure to complete the match by winning or dying, using the Leave Game option in the menu may not count toward the progress.

If you’re a recluse with no friends, worry not, you can find players via the Fortnite Discord Server’s dedicated LFG channels.

Assist teammates with (5) eliminations

This Challenge requires a bit of coordination, you’ll want to complete it alongside the previous Play matches with a Friend Challenge. Be sure to use voice callouts and the in-game ping system to let your teammates know that there are enemies nearby.

An assist simply refers to dealing any amount of damage to an enemy before your teammate eliminates them. Try to get a shot or two on each enemy during team battles and you’ll complete the Challenge in no time.

Pet a teammate’s pet

For this Challenge you’ll need to have unlocked at least 1 of the 31 (at the time of writing) Pet Back Blings. The current easiest to obtain is the Kitsune Pet which is unlocked at Tier 28 of the Season X Battle Pass.

Once in-game, simply stand behind a teammate with the Pet Back Bling equipped and press the interact key to perform the action.

Heal a teammate with a Chug Splash in (3) different matches

The Chug Splash is a Rare consumable item which, upon use, grants any player within its radius 20 HP or Shield, it can also be used to extend the duration of a downed teammate’s lifespan.

Chug Splashes drop in stacks of 2 with a maximum stack size of 6. They can be found in Chests, Floor Loot, Vending Machines, Supply Drops, and Supply Llamas.

Mark an Uncommon, Rare, and Epic item

To mark an item, simply aim at the item and press the Middle Mouse or Left D-Pad button. You can change this bind in the Options, so if it’s not working for you, double check that you haven’t setup custom binds.

Deal (1,000) combined damage with your squad or duo

For this Challenge you should ignore the ability to do it in Duos mode, take advantage of the free damage that your teammates in Squads will accumulate.

1,000 damage is equal to about 5 eliminations, assuming that you finish off downed enemies as soon as possible. Of course, if you deal no damage to downed enemies, this will make it a total of 10 eliminations.

Revive a teammate in (3) different matches

Here we have yet another passive-completion Challenge. Simply queueing into any team-based mode, you’ll complete this Challenge before you know it. Try to pick out the weakest link in your team and stick close to them if you feel necessary.

As mentioned above, you can extend the duration of a downed teammates life by throwing a Chug Splash near them. This is useful if you need to eliminate multiple enemies before reviving your teammate.

Prestige Objectives

Finish top 20 with a Friend three times

This is another one of those Challenges which will be passively completed. That being said, if you’re someone who struggles to make it out of the early game alive, check out the following video from our YouTube Channel which aims to help you improve.

Assist teammates with (5) eliminations in a single match

As previously described, all that’s needed of you to assist an elimination is to deal any amount of damage to an enemy which your teammate will go on to eliminate.

Communication is key, if you’re the teammate doing the eliminating, be sure to call out and mark enemies so that your teammates can deal damage beforehand.

If you’re the assisting teammate, let your teammates know ahead of time and try to get at least one shot into each enemy you see.

Use a launchpad in squads or duos

Launch Pads can be found in floor loot, Supply Llamas, Supply Drops, and Chests. It’s important to keep in mind that Launch Pads will only have as many hit points as the surface it is placed on.

Heal a teammate with a Cozy Campfire in (3) different matches

Cozy Campfire is a Rare trap which must be placed on a floor and persists for 25 seconds, healing nearby players at the rate of 2HP per second. It can be found in Chests, Floor Loot, Vending Machines, Supply Drops, and Supply Llamas.

Tip: Cozy Campfire healing rates can be stacked if placed correctly. For example, in a 2x2 square.

Keep in mind that this Challenge does not include Foraged Campfires, the environmental Campfires found around the map.

Mark a chest, a shield item, and a healing item in a single match

Reminder: To mark an item, simply aim at it and use the Middle Mouse button or Left D-Pad button, depending on your binds and input device.

Your choices for shield and healing items include:

  • Small Shield
  • Shield Pot
  • Chug Jug
  • Chug Splash
  • Bandages
  • Med Kit

Deal (1,000) combined damage with your squad or duo in a single match

Once again, ignore the ability to do this Challenge in Duos mode, take advantage of the free damage that your teammates in Squads will accumulate.

1,000 damage is equal to about 5 eliminations, assuming that you finish off downed enemies as soon as possible. Of course, if you deal no damage to downed enemies, this will make it a total of 10 eliminations.

Reboot a teammate

Upon death, your teammate will drop a Reboot Card which can be taken to a Reboot Van to bring them back into the match.

  • Once dropped, the Reboot Card will last for 90 seconds before it expires and despawns.
  • If a squad has picked up a Reboot Card, any member of it can interact with a Reboot Van for ten seconds to reboot every teammate whose Reboot Card has been picked up.
  • There is a five second delay between each teammate rebooted.
  • Rebooted teammates have 100 wood, a Common Pistol, and 36 Light Bullets.
  • One Reboot Van can be found at each named location on the map.
  • Reboot Vans cannot be destroyed.
  • Once a Reboot Van has been used, it must recharge before two minutes before it can be reused.
