Season 8 Week 7 Fortnite Battle Pass Guide
This week’s challenges are pretty straightforward, but can be quite time consuming to complete. Here’s our weekly Battle Pass Guide, in addition to @ItsEnergie’s cheat sheet at the bottom!
Deal 100 damage with a Pickaxe to opponents - 5 Battle Stars
While this Challenge may prove time consuming, it is extremely simple. The best time to go for this Challenge is when you have downed an enemy player, finish them off with your Pickaxe for a free 100 damage.
If you are unable to deal the full 100 damage to downed players, try landing at Tilted Towers the next game and dealing damage with your Pickaxe early-game when players do not have any loot. Since a Pickaxe does 20 damage a swing, you should complete this challenge relatively easily.
Visit ________ and ________ in a single match - 3 Battle Stars
- Stage 1: Junk Junction and The Block
- Stage 2: Pleasant Park and Dusty Divot
- Stage 3: Happy Hamlet and Snobby Shores
For this challenge, you probably want to use one of the Ballers or Driftboards to aid with the rotations. Here's a couple of maps you can use to find the Ballers or Driftboards:
For Stage 1, there are no Baller spawns between Junk Junction and The Block. Luckily they are only a short distance apart.
For stage 2, there is a Baller spawn West of Pleasant Park, though this requires you to backtrack a bit. Between Loot Lake and Dusty Divot a Baller spawn can be found to help finish the rotation.
For Stage 3, there are many Baller spawns between Happy Hamlet and Snobby Shores. The best choice would to be going to Frosty Flights and obtaining a Baller there.
Visit 3 Pirate Camps in a single match - 10 Battle Stars
Here is a map of all Pirate Camp spawns in the current map:
Our recommended route is landing at Pleasant Park to gear-up, then hitting the Pirate Camps in the following order: West of Pleasant Park, Southwest of Tilted Towers, Northwest of Fatal Fields.
This rotation route allows you to maximize loot for late-game while going through the mountainous region of the map to maintain cover and avoid enemies.
Another thing to keep in mind is that there are Baller spawns at 5/7 of the Pirate Camps, so you ought to pick one up to help you rotate faster.
Battle Pass Challenges
Deal 500 damage to players from above - 3 Battle Stars
As with most of this week’s Challenges, this Challenge should prove to be relatively easy. If anything, it really hammers in one of the fundamental rules of Fortnite - get high ground and play the advantage you get from it.
In most cases, the easiest way to complete this challenge is to get on top of a building or hill and damage any players who challenge you. You’ll likely want to use Assault Rifles or Snipers if you’re camping a 1x1 or hill, but shotguns are great too if you expect them to push you close range.
If you’re really skilled at the game, it’ll probably be faster to build fight an enemy for high ground and shoot down at them. That’s a lot easier said than done though, as the general Fortnite population is getting really good at building.
Search 7 Chests at Loot Lake or Snobby Shores - 5 Battle Stars
Here are the treasure chest maps for both locations. To complete this challenge, plan out a route at either location using the maps and land at that area. We would suggest Snobby Shores because the chests are a lot more spread out, lowering your risk of death. However, if you’re having too much trouble at Snobby Shores due to distance from the center of the map, Loot Lake might be slightly easier.
Deal damage to opposing players ___________ - 10 Battle Stars
- Stage 1: While riding a Zipline
- Stage 2: Who are riding a Zipline
Here is a map showing all the ziplines thanks to LootLake.info:
We highly recommend using a hitscan weapon for this Challenge. Scoped Pistols or ARs are best due to their accuracy at long range. To complete either stage of this challenge, you will want to camp near a Zipline.
There needs to be an opponent for you to shoot in range of a Zipline. If you see an enemy running by, you can hop on the Zipline you’re camping and take some shots at them
You need to be able to hit that enemy, who could be running in all different directions or build instantly and stop you from damaging them further. This part is the most difficult because you have to account for the Zipline’s speed.
If you’re having too much trouble with this, try a LTM - you’ll have more targets and chances to land your shots without having to requeue into a lobby.
Ziplines are really loud - if you’re camping a set of them, you can very easily hear someone coming.
The hardest part of Stage 2 is spotting someone to actually deal damage to. This bit just requires some patience around some Ziplines - enemies moving up one are generally sitting ducks and are quite easy to deal damage to.
Eliminate opponents in 5 different Named Locations - 10 Battle Stars
Here is a map of every point of interest’s Chest count. You can click on the image to zoom in and see the layout of every location’s Chest layout.

To complete the Challenge the fastest, it’s best to land where the most loot and players are. The highest traffic locations with good loot are the following:
- Tilted Towers
- Pleasant Park
- Retail Row
- Salty Springs
- Fatal Fields
- Paradise Palms
If you need tips for getting eliminations, we suggest you check out the guides playlist on our YouTube channel. We provide a lot of tips and strategies aimed at new players with the goal of helping them improve in mind.

A battle star can be found on the back of the Wooden Rabbit west of Pleasant Park, or North of Snobby Shores.
